The Music Matters Project from Empty Vessel Music brings music education, appreciation and intervention to children who may be considered underserved or at risk in the community. The Program provides these children with instruments, mentors and opportunities.
The Project is operated and overeseen by our team in your community providing additional support to the families you serve by showing them you value them and the success of their children.
THE COMMUNITY offers the program to families with children between the ages of 9-12 and 13-18. There is an application tobe completed by the parents but there is NO COST to the children being served.
SELECTED CHILDREN are then divided into PODS of up to 5 children in each age range. Younger children will be instructed on the basics of music through keyboard instruction. Older children will learn through the introduction of POP instruments.
MENTOR instructors will be assigned to the PODS in your community. The mentor will offer the program a minimum of once per week per POD and a maximum of twice.
OUR TEAM is ready to provide you with the support and resources of this project. A SMALL MONTHLY INVESTMENT covers the overhead of the project and we would be happy to discuss how we can make this happen.
